HOTEL ENTERTAINMENT
You don’t need to go very far to keep the wee ones entertained at the Kingshouse Hotel. Fancy a game of chess? You can find our giant chess board and connect 4 outside, just don’t get distracted by the view. Swirl, sniff and sip on an 1881 Gin at our gin tastings, or if whisky is more your thing, we have whisky tastings too. Bike hire, board games and books are also on hand to keep the wee ones (and big ones) entertained.
GOLF IN GLENCOE
A golfers paradise. Dragon’s Tooth Golf Course (now known as ‘Woodlands’) is a must-visit for any golfer. The popular, award-winning course has been named Scotland’s best nine-hole course by The Bunker magazine. With stunning loch views, it’s easy to see why. The course is open to everyone year-round and offers spectacular scenery, delight, magic and even a little challenge in places.
THE HIGHLAND CINEMA
Bringing the big screen experience to Lochaber, the Highland cinema can be found in Fort William. Cutting edge technology combined with a traditional highland building, the cinema streams everything from blockbuster favourites to Scottish classics. Celebrating an event? You can even hire out the whole cinema.
PICNIC SPOTS
Order your lunch from reception, gather the clan and head out for a sunny picnic in Glencoe. With so many spots to choose from, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Some of our favourites? Glencoe Lochan is a quiet, scenic spot and just a short stroll for families with younger children. Or if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, head to Glen Etive and enjoy your sandwich whilst watching the river rapids and deer roam free (just don’t be tempted to feed them!).
SEGWAY IN BALLACHULISH
Explore Glencoe on foot? Pfft! Step onto a Segway, find your balance and glide around the estate. Visit Woodlands, Glencoe to experience Segways in the Scottish Highlands. Build up your skills and confidence, explore new places and learn some history and fun facts while you go.
